Get ready for the Y2KTUH Radiothon!
This year’s Y2KTUH Radiothon celebrates an era when people carried MP3 players, burned CDs for friends and discovered new music through college radio. While the music and its technology have changed, students are still creating the programming they want to hear while listeners discover music they won’t find anywhere else.
Former KTUH DJ and station director Tina Rutsch remembers the station as a place where people came together through music, creativity and community:
“When you find something you love, acknowledge the ways you can help it grow. For me, the work and the love grew together.”
This spirit continues today.
Your support helps KTUH remain a student-run learning laboratory, funding new studio equipment, updating our computers, and improving our broadcast infrastructure.
These upgrades are part of a multiyear effort to modernize KTUH’s facilities while preserving the independent, alternative programming defining our station for generations. Some things about KTUH deserve to stay exactly as they are. Our aging
equipment isn’t one of them.
