This fund advances ʻāina‑based learning and the restoration of Hawaiian plants across campus, strengthening students’ connection to place, culture, and kuleana. In celebration of the college’s 80th anniversary, gifts support the planting and ongoing care of 80 native trees — creating living classrooms that nurture ʻike, community, and kinship with Lāʻau Hawaiʻi. Donors are invited to take part by planting a tree in honor of 80 years of education at Kapiʻolani CC. Mahalo e nā hoaʻāina.
