The University of Hawai’i’s athletic heritage is a cornerstone of pride for our loyal fanbase, former and current players, and a vital beacon for prospective recruits. During Giving Week, we invite you to be part of honoring the legacy of those who came before us—and creating a lasting legacy for those who will follow.
Thanks to the support of our contributors, several Legacy Initiative projects have now been completed, including:
- Les Murakami Hall of Fame section at Les Murakami Stadium
- Men’s Basketball display at the Bankoh Arena at the Stan Sheriff Center
- Women’s Basketball display at the Bankoh Arena
- A.C. Carter Tribute display
- Andy Johnson Tribute display
- Display of a Champion showcasing UH championship accomplishments
But our work is not finished. Future phases of the Legacy Initiative will expand these efforts to additional sports and public-facing areas across the UH Athletics complex.
