More than 1,200 donors came together to raise over $1.34 million to benefit our student-athletes.
A highlight of the week was the Hawaiʻi’s Team Drive telethon, broadcast live on KHON2 with support from ʻAhahui Koa Ānuenue, UH Foundation and UH Athletics. The event raised nearly $90,000 and featured stories from student-athletes and coaches, including Laura Beeman, Robyn Ah Mow and Landon Sims. Read more here.
In a transformative show of support, UH Board of Regents Chair Gabriel Lee ’80 and his wife, Shirley, committed a $1 million matching gift to this year’s campaign. Their landmark contribution will fuel student-athlete development and programmatic investments that strengthen competitiveness, enhance well-being, and expand opportunities across all sports.
